Security Issues

Security issues to purchasing our software online

Some people are worried about purchasing items via the World Wide Web.

The risk of credit card fraud on the internet is very low, probably less than the waiter copying your card details when you pay for a meal (and your credit card company almost certainly indemnifies you against fraudulent use of your number, especially as there is no signature).

However, we appreciate that some customers are worried. If you fall into this category you have two choices:

  1. Pay using conventional ordering methods (phone, fax or letter).
  2. Hit the back button on your browser, fill in all the details except the last four digits of your card number, hit the Submit button, and send the missing digits separately by email to orders@genius2000.com Make sure that the email address you send from matches the one you type into the form so that we can match up the number later. This method is a virtual guarantee against the potential automatic stealing of credit card numbers such as "sniffer" programs and such like.
